Custom Bot

Run the bot under your own name and avatar, with your own bot token. Every feature and setting stays the same, only the brand is yours.

With Custom Bot your server no longer runs under NoxBot but under your own bot, with your name, your avatar and your brand. The dashboard and all features stay the same, only what your members see in Discord is fully yours.

Custom Bot is included in the **Custom Bot** plan. All your settings, modules and data are kept exactly as they are.

Setting it up

  1. Create an app - create a new application in the Discord Developer Portal. The name becomes your bot’s name.
  2. Get the token - open the Bot tab, create the bot and copy the bot Token (it is shown only once).
  3. Enable intents - in the same tab, under Privileged Gateway Intents, turn on all three switches: Server Members, Message Content and Presence.
  4. Paste the token - paste the token in the dashboard under Custom Bot and save. The token is validated and stored encrypted; only the last four characters stay visible.
  5. Invite the bot - use the invite link shown to add your bot to the server (with Administrator permissions).
  6. Remove NoxBot - once your bot is online you can kick NoxBot from the server. The dashboard keeps working through your bot.
Without the three intents enabled your bot will not start. If it does not come online after saving, first check the Privileged Gateway Intents in your Discord app, then save the token again.

Managing it

On the page you see your bot’s status (active or paused) and its name. You can pause and resume it at any time without losing settings, or remove it entirely. If you remove it, you will need NoxBot back on the server to control things from the dashboard.

If the Custom Bot plan is ever lost, your bot shuts down gracefully and NoxBot automatically takes over again, so your server stays reachable at all times.
