Sticky Notes

Pin a message to the bottom of a channel. Whenever someone posts, the bot reposts your note so it always stays the last message.

A sticky note is a message that always stays at the bottom of a channel. As soon as someone writes something new, the bot removes its old note and posts it again, so it is always the last message everyone sees. Great for rules in a trading channel, submission guidelines in an art channel, or a permanent event link.

Create a sticky note

  1. Open Sticky Notes in your server dashboard and click New sticky note.
  2. Pick the channel the note should stick to. One note per channel.
  3. Write your note as plain text or as a rich embed with title, color and image. You can also add clickable link buttons.
  4. Click Save. The note is posted to the channel right away.

The live preview on the right shows exactly how the note will look in Discord.

How reposting works

When members chat in the channel, the bot waits a few seconds and then moves your note back to the bottom. Quick bursts of messages are bundled into a single repost, so the bot never spams the channel.

Editing without a bump

When you edit a note in the dashboard and save it, the existing message in Discord is updated in place. It only moves to the bottom again when someone posts in the channel.

Turning notes off

Every note has its own switch in the list. Turning a note off deletes its message in Discord and stops reposting; turning it back on posts it again. Deleting a note also removes its message.

Limits per plan

  • Free: 1 sticky note
  • Premium and Custom Bot: unlimited sticky notes

If your paid plan ends, your notes are not deleted: the oldest note keeps working and the others are paused. They start again automatically as soon as the plan is renewed.
