Server Setup
Let a wizard build a complete channel and role structure for you, from a ready-made template or from an AI prompt. With a live preview, three apply modes and an undo button.
Server Setup builds a finished structure of categories, channels and roles in a few clicks. You describe what you need (or pick a template), see a live preview, and then apply it to your server with one click.
Setup is an AI feature and is included in the **Custom Bot** plan. On other plans you can preview the wizard but not apply it.
How it works
The wizard walks you through a few steps:
- Pick a source - start from a ready-made template, let the AI generate something from a short description, or import your current server structure as a starting point.
- Describe or refine - with AI you describe in your own words what the server should be (for example “gaming community with areas for voice, tournaments and support”). You can refine it by chat (“add a category for events”).
- Choose a style - decide how channel names look: plain, with emojis, with prefixes, or with light decoration.
- Review - the preview shows every category, channel and role in a Discord-style layout, including which channels are locked.
- Apply - the bot creates everything step by step, with a progress bar.
Three apply modes
- Add - only creates new categories, channels and roles and never touches what already exists. The safe default.
- Adjust - compares the preview with your current server, renames, moves, and can optionally remove leftovers.
- Reset - clears the existing structure and rebuilds everything. For safety you have to type the server name to confirm.
For the bot to create channels and roles it needs the **Manage Channels** and **Manage Roles** permissions. Its own role must sit above the roles it should create or hand out.
Undo
After applying there is an Undo button. It removes exactly what that run created, without touching other channels. If repeated runs accidentally created duplicate roles, the page shows a notice at the top with a cleanup option.
